The system automatically controls the environment that is necessary for plant growth, making it easy for anyone to grow strong, uniform seedlings anytime, anywhere, without being affected by the season or weather conditions.
Overview of NAE TERRACE
Multi-tiered seedling racks
It is possible to place four cell trays per rack, with a choice of four or five racks. There is lighting on the top of each rack and a irrigation system on the bottom of each rack.
LED Lighting System
The system provides a consistent light environment with three high-output LED light bars placed at each rack of seedling shelves. Since white LEDs are used, the system can be applied to a variety of plants and provides a light environment that makes it easy to observe the color of leaves and growth conditions. (*Conventional fluorescent lamp type is also available.)
Prefabricated warehouse
Consisting of a closed space with insulated walls, we offer optimal layout and cultivation environment. It stabilizes the internal environment from changing weather conditions and prevents pest entrance, resulting in no or reduced pesticide use.
Automatic Irrigation
The system supplies liquid fertilizer from the bottom of cell trays in a circulating method, and provides sufficient water to the growing medium by running for about 10 minutes per time. The space at the bottom of the cell tray prevents outgrowth of roots (air pruning). Seedling quality can be controlled by adjusting fertilizer concentration, irrigation frequency and intervals.
Air Conditioning
Room air conditioners and fans provide consistent temperature control in the room.
Moderate air flow increases evapotranspiration and promotes seedling growth.
Nutrient solution feeder and carbon dioxide gas application equipment
Automatically generates the nutrient solution needed for liquid fertilizer irrigation.
The system supplies insufficient carbon dioxide gas in a closed space with live gas to maintain a constant concentration.
